Simec Atlantis

Been in the news recently. These caught my eye as operators of tidal energy systems, and they still do this as they have a contract for a tidal turbine off Normandy. But the news is that their other arm, of burning rubbish, met a milestone in generating energy from crap at their Uskmouth facility, proving the technology.
Since then other commentators have said "deserves a re-rating" "game changer" and "we always believed that the successful completion of this large-scale testing will open up a huge new market globally for MHPS and Atlantis for future similar conversions."
The thing that's got a lot of people excited is that they repurposed a coal power plant to burn waste destined for landfill - including all the plastic that cannot be recycled, the company mentions ar dashboards as an example of what can now be burnt.

The CEO was right, the price doubled after he said that, and financial close has not yet been achieved on the Uskmouth project, that's a lot closer now.
There is also talk of Swansea bay coming back, with possibilities for tidal contracts there too.
