I have a dispute with Aegon. In a nutshell when I transferred out my pension they sold the units on a Friday, told me the amount, told the transferring scheme the amount and then changed the amount and sale date to Monday, when the prices had dropped £1K. I suspect that may be a common scam. They sent me a cheap hamper to compensate.
Anyway I digress. I think I have the choice between using the Pensions Ombudsman and the Financial one. My instinct is Pensions because a long time ago I dealt with an idiot at FOS who couldn't understand my complaint let alone adjudicate it. However technically the issue is right up the FOS street. Which is best?
