Update.
Barclays Wealth either did nothing or at least did not manage to register the shares in my name.
I made an updated complaint to the them. They replied at the end of December saying they can’t do anything about the shares. They told me I have 6 months to complain to the Financial ombudsman if I want to. They also gave me another £50 !!!
