New SIPP investment advice

#490606

Postby jimleigh61 » March 31st, 2022, 2:47 pm

Just starting a new SIPP for retired wife, with the £2880 per annum to gain the £720 tax relief. Looking to keep investments to a minimum to reduce buying and selling fees. What investments would be best? SIPP is with A J Bell, would be prepared to invest in individual shares as already have a large stocks and shares ISA, however anything would be considered.
Thanks Jim

If we knew that, we'd all be multi-millionaires :)

Long term, trackers outperform managed funds on average, but if you like picking stocks then the other investment boards are good places to start your research.

Buy the cheapest global equities index tracker and leave well alone to compound
Monevator.com will give you the cheapest platform for smaller pots
That’s it
