stamp duty and divorce

unsure if this should be here or on 'taxes'
but as solicitors always keen for extracting every last bit I thought I would ask here as I am sure I not the first in situation.

in a divorce situation...all cash aspects etc have been discussed and amicably agreed which end up with a payment being made
an agreed sufficient and fair payment

the house ownership will need to be changed from wifes name into my name........the 'so called' value OF this was 100% included in other calculations
is the dreaded STAMP DUTY applicable as in theory I already own a share even if not actually on the deeds

I am looking elsewhere to find answers to this, but usually lemonfool is one of my morning coffee routine stops...so here first!!

A Google for "sdlt exemptions" yields:
