We have recently had some repair work done to a resin driveway. The "repair" is of appalling workmanship and has made the driveway worse than before the repair. We are awaiting a proposal from the company on how they will remedy the situation. We hope this will be satisfactory. As we are doing this, are there any steps we should take to put us in a good position if this were to go some kind of arbitration, or even to the Small Claims Court ? All communication is happening via email to give a record.
TIA
John

Re: Resolving poor workmanship disputes
Take lots of photos (ideally sing a very good quality camera) and make notes of any conversations immediately while they are fresh in your mind are the only tips I can suggest at this stage.
You need lots of photos because visual problems with workmanship can be difficult capture on a photo, so the more you take, the more chance of getting one or two that show the problem as your eyes see it.
