Thought you peeps would like an update. It'll be the last.

We've been trading for over a year now and our accounts are showing circa £20k profit on turnover of nearly £100k. We are only open Friday nights, all day Saturday and Sunday late afternoon/ evening. (22 hours)

We did initially only open until 6.30 on Saturday but footfall was so good we have extended until 10.30. Functions have been a great success and we have bingo, poker and live entertainment. Sunday evening when we hold the meat raffle and fun and games is smashing it every week.

Our full membership has fallen slightly and we are looking into perks to make it more value for money if you don't own a boat, but the social side is buoyant.

Currently the committee and trustees are looking into proposals to return donations to members (if they want them back).

Thanks for all your help and advice and if you are ever in the Portsmouth area give me a shout and I'll buy you a pint.

thats great news. And 20K profit on a 100K turnover given where you were coming from is frankly amazing!
