Depending on the traffic volume it is possible to use some Cloudflare CDN services for free. Has this been looked at?

Ultimately if the hosting needs to move to higher quality business grade with proper support then I for one would be prepared to make an annual contribution and if enough of us did it it should (hopefully) be self funding without being too onerous on a per user basis - assuming that wouldn't cause Stooze any issues from an HMRC perspective?

Some of us already do that - if you have a look at the home page, under the line containing the Google search box, you will see an invitation to donate and the names of people who have donated most recently. This is all on a purely voluntary basis.

Yes I know that.
My suggestion is that there is a more formalised annual voluntary subscription with a target figure in mind as to what needs to be raised
to cover the costs. It may be the current 'voluntary' system makes things easier from Stoozes point of view and a more organised system would cause issues. Hence me posing the question. ;) If I contribute towards the upkeep I'd expect there to some route map of how things would improve... :)
