No Taber tweets since 20th Dec, hope he's OK. He's been quoted in yesterdays Telegraph but I don't know if it was a current quote: "Mark Taber, a bond analyst, said some Pibs could still be attractive and to consider larger mutuals that have avoided riskier lending"

If he is well, and if he does not want the overhead & hassle of running his own site, then subject to the usual I am sure he would be made most welcome by all Fools if he were to want to post on TLF.

Best wishes to him if he is unwell.

regards, dspp

New users need to have made a minimum number of posts (5??) before the use of links is allowed. This helps to reduce spammers.

Google suggests a Mark Taber may have been quoted in this Premium article dated 20 February 2019:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/investing/n ... ife-catch/

20 Feb 2019 - Mark Taber, a bond analyst, said some Pibs could still be attractive and to consider larger mutuals that have avoided riskier lending, such as Halifax, Skipton and ...

I'm also pleased to note (without giving precise details) that he would appear to be active at his tennis club and is said to be organising a tournament on 7 April 2019, for those in the area.

Wizard wrote:That would be a real shame, when the Aviva 'situation' blew up there was a lot of useful discussion on it going through the terms of many other preference shares. It would be unfortunate if that was all lost now. If Mark has given up it would be really helpful if the content could be archived in an accessible place.

A useful site for FI investors for sure, but completely unrelated to the site being discussed.

He's very much alive and kicking, according to his Twitter account. (Ignore the "pinned" tweet at the top -- there are plenty from the last few days lower down.)
