I am logged in, but when I try to search for recent posts the server asks me to log in again. How best can this be resolved?
I think I have worked this out it is something to do with a conflict between accessing the site through http and https. I have changed the URL to a secure one and it works without logging in. There may be a redirect on the login.

Aha! Yes, I've had a link since more or less the creation of TLF to my Subscriptions page and that's been asking me to login today, even though I've been already logged in, and, yes, changing that from http to https has fixed that.
Looks like the auto-redirect from http to https that's been on the site for the last few months may have broken....
