Notifications stuck

I would appear to have a private message to read but when I do so, I find it is the one I received on Feb. 3 which I have now read umpteen times and indeed replied to. Any chance of removing the (1) so I don't waste more time reading it again?

Lorna, when I look at Notifications, if there are any unread, a link appears top right saying "Mark all read". Do you not see that?

Thanks, Terry. I did try that but it reappeared and previously I didn't have to do anything other than read the PM for it to revert to 0. However, I tried it again this morning and it went to 0 and then back to 1 so I clicked on "Mark all read" yet again and it seems to have remained on 0 this time.
