Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how?

Most OSs have a print screen capture option but if you want to capture a scrolling post then you will probably have to use a 3rd party application such as SnagIt which is a paid for product (free trial), although very good if you need to do it often. I believe that Firefox has a built-in option for that if you happen to use it. Otherwise you can highlight > copy > paste into a text editor \ wordprocessor and print from there. There are a lot of other applications that will do this, probably some free ones if you search. Most browsers offer some kind of print function although I haven't used them much. Some offer the ability to save a page as a PDF which can then be printed. So a lot of options depending on what you want to do, how often you want to do it and what you want it to look like.

use Print View
it's only a page at time though

Thanks both. The spanner did it for me -- with Print View I could print it as a PDF, and edit it from there. So a combination of both your suggestions!

I have used this for several years. Works well, is fast and will deal with a variety of file formats include images (such as .jpg).

Or if you have a Mac:

-use the above-mentioned Print View on the TLF thread
-select the text of the post(s) you want to print
-open the print dialog (Cmd-P) and select the radio button saying "Print Selection Only".

Easy!

Simply select the text, right click and select "print" (Chrome) or "print selection" (Firefox). Presumably similar in other browsers.
