Re: Pop-Up
No comment from me because it hasn't yet popped up on my screen. When does it do so? Asking so that I know what to avoid doing... ;-)

Re: Pop-Up
Pretty universal now, just the usual GDPR carp.
I see it every day now when I first enter the site as I use in-private mode, but one click and it's gone.

Re: Pop-Up
Its a legal requirement from 2018 but legislation is due to kick in around October so we have left it as long as we can. I personally think the interpretation of the law and the law itself is misguided. The majority of people I see just click accept and dont care, if they cared they could find the options in the footer or menus. But thats just my solo opinion.
The ridiculous pop ups that fill peoples screens are terrible.
And just for extra fun google have invented a way to work the same way without using cookies, side stepping the law altogether.
So, sorry - but we are required to have them or face litigation from someone who decides we didnt give a choice.

When I saw it I adjusted the cookies to reject personalised ads, I do this for every site where it is reasonably easy to do so. Some sites make it really hard to do anything except accept all cookies. I then have to decide how much I want to access the site!

It would have been helpful to include some reference to The Lemon Fool in the message that appeared. As it was, I felt uneasy clicking on anything as it was completely anonymous of anything showing where it had come from.
