Why do only those who want to complain about moderation have a room?

I tell you it's just not fair. Where do we go to leave praise? It's not good enough ;)

The moderators do a bloody marvellous job and with their support and assistance, which is given for free, we wouldn't have this site to use.

Thank you - greatly indebted to you all

Well, the first step for those who want to complain about moderation is a PM to the moderator - they're only supposed to go to the room if that hasn't sorted things out. So being fair to those who wish to leave praise ought to mean that they should also start with a PM to the moderator, and only proceed to a room if that hasn't sorted things out. And I rather suspect that the second part of that hasn't happened often enough for "LemonFool can always create a new board if there is significant demand." to be invoked! ;-)

Good point but I suspect the Mods have enough to do without out another flood of requests
from the rules
"LemonFool can always create a new board if there is significant demand."

Do they?

If you're referring to this forum, "Improve the Recipe" could presumably (and indeed does) encompass discussion of moderation, be it criticism, praise, constructive comment, or whatever. I happen to think lemonfool could be improved if the mods [insert suggestion here].

Moderator Message:
NB this from the recent announcement:

General Discussions on Moderation
If you wish to discuss the nature of Moderation in general, send a PM to Stooz and Clariman who will take note of what you say. They may discuss it with the other Moderator(s) and will make a decision whether to take any action. There is no board for general moderation discussions, but that does not mean we do not value feedback on moderation. We do value feedback, but PM is the appropriate mechanism for it. Thanks.
