Navigation at the bottom of the screen

When you get to the end of a thread you have the option of returning to the board you are in eg Biscuit Bar, or going Home.

If possible it would be useful to be able to return to the are the board is in eg Lemon Lounge, without returning to the board or returning home first.

If that is a possibility, it would be much appreciated.

I just hit the 'Home' key and select it from the navigation at the top, but appreciate that this won't work without a keyboard.

Not quite a solution but there is a "Jump to" at the foot which, when expanded, gives you the option of selecting which forum you want to enter. I haven't checked if this is readily visible on a mobile or tablet etc.

I thought that you meant at the top of the home page.

But, when you are the bottom of a long thread it can be a lot of scrolling to get back to the top of that screen so as to see the navigation. Hence my request.

I'd never seen the 'jump to' either, that's useful.

Especially as the 'up' arrows at the sides of posts don't seen to want to work on my phone. They work fine on the laptop though.

Surely the point is that at the top of the page, the navigation breadcrumb trail allows you to go to any level in the hierarchy with one click.

At the bottom. the options are Home (top of the tree!), or back to the board where the current topic is.

If the version that is at the top was repeated at the bottom in place of the Return to XXX, everyone would be happy as there's no loss of functionality for those who like the current set up, and a small addition of functionality for those who don't!

Still - all pretty small beer in the grand scheme of things....

Ah, nope, never seen that, and you're right, I don't usually scroll down that far, thinking there was nothing else down there! So, everything anyone could need is at the bottom of the page as well as the top.
