Captcha on login

Either someones trying to guess my password, or maybe there's a system glitch?

Last couple of times I've logged in it advised that the maximum number of login attempts had been exceeded (that wasn't me) and that I should complete the captcha in order to login.

Logging out an immediately logging back in again ... and the same. So I suspect its a system glitch.

I had this the other day during the glitch. After entering login details and answering the Captcha question I was banned until 9.52pm, as were most others due to some overenthusiastic site protection software or something similar

Same here. I've exceeded the max number of login attempts....answer the Captcha question.

Indeed. Me too. Anyway, I am trying to be understanding and have not complained but it just seems to be another bottleneck in our way. Presumably someone will sort it.

It happened to me a lot too.

I'm tempted to turn this security thing back off...
