How come I keep
getting logged out?
Had to log in 3 times today (on PC) which I don't usually have to do at all. Even after a reboot.

I find I am always logged out after an hour of inactivity, right from when Lemonfool started. I assumed it was a setting in the code, or an expiring cookie or similar.

Mmm, I never used to be at all but now always am on the phone, but not on the PC.
Odd.

I have the problem regularly on the mobile but less so on the PC. I'd assumed it was deliberate to force the sleeping spammers to log back in, before they post their nonsense.
Wasn't there a Topic on here in the early days, on the same subject? I think the result was stooz relaxed the settings a little but I haven't looked back.

Re: How come I keep
I don't think its a system setting: I've never been logged out.
Looking at my profile it seems that the "keep me logged in " feature works on IP addresses This would explain phone users being the most frequently logged off, and maybe those who are in a work situation with dynamic addresses
I have just one PC hard wired to my router which I only power off in extremis.

I don't get logged out at work or at home across 3 PCs (two laptops of which one is mine, one is work, and one PC)! Just the phone.

There is nothing intentional. I suspect it is a "feature" that if you login by a phone (I do to) it breaks the memory on the PC ??

Re: How come I keep
Are you remembering to tick the "Remember me" box when you log in?
I find that if I do that, I don't get logged out automatically, but if I forget to, I do after somewhere around 30-60 minutes of loading any TLF pages.
Of course, not getting logged out automatically means that when I do eventually need to log in again (typically as a consequence of deleting cookies and other browsing history when I suspect that my computer is getting indigestion from them), it's generally quite a long time since I last logged in, and so I do forget to tick the box first time... :-(
