This evening I'm at home while my food is in the slow cooker.
A delicious smell (the strongest component being the onions) is pervading the house, and I'm ravenous. But I have to wait two hours before eating it. YOUR WIFE IS A BIG HIPPO!
Now I remember why I think of the slow cooker as something to come back to when I'm out for the evening doing something other than eating!
