My daughter, who is vegetarian, used to love a cheese we bought back from France. It was a bog standard supermarket creamy cheese with crushed walnuts and had a whole walnut on top of the round. I cannot for the life of me remember the name and a good hour of searching has got me nowhere. Anyone able to help please.

Re: Cheese
Thank you Watis & Gaggsy, Rambol is the cheese I've been after though having looked at Rondele I shall try that as well. Thank you both, the old memory isn't what it was, maybe it's too much sherry

Some might say "too much" and "sherry" are non sequiturs.
How about trying Oloroso, Sanlucar de Barrameda has a nose suggestive of walnuts and dried fruit and yet delivers a far drier experience on the palate. Partnered with Comte .... Suggestive walnuts in the sherry if you can't source the Rambol!

Then if any left over you could share with your daughter.
