First forage

Just enjoyed my first wild-foraged food of the season. A bit late really: the wild garlic in tonight's salad was delicious, but not as tender as it would've been a week or two ago (when I was alas affected by lurgy).

Haven't seen any really appetising-looking patches of that other spring delicacy, the nettle. Hmmm ...

I find the stuff too strong to eat raw, I picked a zip lock bag full, washed it and put in freezer to use in cooked dishes and soup ,it does not need to be so tender if cooked.
