Freezing Nettles?

I seem to have gathered more nettles than I can use right now.

Should they be good to blanche-and-freeze? Perhaps for a season when they're less young&tender, and more of a chore to pick (wearing gloves becomes painful in a month or two).

Thanks. Will do it (if I can be [expletive deleted]) later this afternoon.

I think I'm calling today's recipe - nettle and artichoke being the principal ingredients - Lockdown Soup.
