No doubt I'll now be told I'm doing something heinous. Anyway the first bite normally confirms it is hot through. I store the fish pie mix in my fridge freezer so I suppose if I were using a freezer with a super low temperature I might cook it for, say, an extra 5 minutes.

Surely you are not suggesting adding the fish and prawns in their frozen state are you? You need to defrost them first or is that taken as a given?
