So he seriously thinks that restaurant food should have no VAT (or that VAT should be added to supermarket food) to level things out?
I'm not sure families struggling to pay their grocery bills will agree with him.
(Note alcohol has VAT both in pubs/restaurants and supermarkets, so that is already levelled.)
