Then there is Mrs S who can not stand any sight of pink in her steak.

I have, over the years, learned how to cook a well done steak without making it dry and tough. The way well done normally turns up in restaurants because it takes time that they are not prepared to take.

It takes nearly 15 minutes to cook a well done steak, unlike my own medium rare which takes 5 or 6 minutes.

I don't mind a wee bit of blood, but it shouldn't run. So I'm one from burnt.
