Yeah, I was in Japan a few weeks ago and wanted to go there. But it's a nightmare getting reservations as you have to ring them two months ahead of time and they only speak Japanese. You probably need a Japanese friend or hotel concierge to pull it off. Unless you are Obama of course.
It's also $300 a head without drinks, albeit for 20-odd "courses".
