Bit surprised about this given the special dividends we have had recently, but good to see.

You have always had a very good handle on Albion, am I correct in thinking that since the carehomes/school disposals that there is little to choose between the 6 vct's now or does AAVC (& perhaps CRWN) still deserve a heavier weighting than the other 4 trusts if one is looking for best income potential ?

Re: Albion Fundraise On The Way
Hello Barchid,
Good to hear from you. Hope to see you at the seminar.
Since the rule changes, AAVC and CRWN have sold off most of their asset-backed investments such as pubs, schools and care homes so my own personal view is that there is now little to choose between the the six VCTs. I shall be investing equally across all six again and enjoy the dividends on the last working day of each month.
Very best wishes,
Gostevie

Do you have details of the seminar?
I seem to have stopped receiving mail from Albion when my shares went into a nominee account. Unlike some other VCT stables.

Uncle
Nov 12 and if you find their recent news sheet/letter (I believe it is still on their website) you will see the details.
India Cornett is the lady to contact at Albion about it.
Hope this helps

Re the seminar, I was rather late in organising for it as I thought we'd be away in November, at present I'm sitting on the bench as a reserve, so it obviously has a loyal following !

Thanks. Even if I'd already seen that (I may have done), it's not available online, and I'm certainly not paying £100 train fare and another £100 hotel room - not to mention two days of my time - to go to bloomin' London.
Never mind. I've booked for the forthcoming Beringea event.

Any fools planning to attend the Albion seminar on Friday, if so is there a pre seminar meeting ?
Butchers Hall being just around the corner from Smithfield market where the pubs have early opening hours...

Enjoy your meeting, but don't drink so much that your report here becomes tipsy.

I certainly plan to go to the seminar. Not sure about pre-seminar drinks but could be persuaded.

Tolmers
Excellent, we must make a plan.
I doubt this Albion January offer will be open very long as the Titan offer, for £125m, which opened I believe on 21 October has already raised £100m.
By anyones standards that has to be impressive.

Sorry, only just logged in today, so didn't see your invite, apologies.
Quite an upbeat meeting though, I thought, once you discarded the ESG & Computershare segments ?
