I notice that all of the Albions are up quite a bit today on no obvious news. Great to see (I hold all of them) but any ideas why?

Kay and Crown updated NAVs I noted. All Albion new allocations expected 25 Feb, they will all be updating. It’s good news and there’s not a lot about.

Anyone seen those Feb.25 allocations yet? Do electronic allocations happen any quicker than paper certificates?

Still waiting for the paper certs. A friend did ask a couple of weeks ago an£ they said, hopefully by Friday just past. At least it’s not just me thinking 6 weeks is a long time.

O-ho. Mine appeared a week or two back (end of March IIRC) in my H-L vantage account. First time I've subscribed a new offer directly into a nominee account, but I shall probably do more of it in future. My other subscription of the tax year (Amati) is messily split between old shares in the nominee account and new shares certificated.

Albion Certs turned up today. In future I would prefer they were uncertified to my broker. I dematerialise them before maturity anyway as dealing is cheaper. I hope they do as well as they have in the past but I’m realistic. Reading Albion Development AA today I noted that all their major holdings were unprofitable as YE snapshots but those that had, raised money at higher valuations. Remind me how that’s going in public markets…….
