Portfolio Returns Excel

#9418

Postby CuriousTurtle » November 27th, 2016, 4:49 pm

I have been investing in UK stocks since 2008 almost 8 years now. Very keen to calculate my annualised portfolio returns inclusive of dividends over these years.
Is there an excel workbook someone as prepared already? Also if someone could guide what should be the best way to calculate these returns.
Is this a good place to start with
http://boards.fool.co.uk/how-to-calcula ... e#10784327 found it on the old fool forum?

Thanks in advance.

I apologise but I can't load that link, I got an error message.

To monitor my performance in a way comparable to the indexes, I calculate both Accumulation and Income units for my dividend growth portfolio using an adapted version of pinchthepennies' unitisation spreadsheet here: http://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebl ... folio.html

However it is very hard to work back in time with unitisation. Did you keep good records?

Best wishes

That's odd - it loads OK for me. Try the archived copy in the Wayback machine instead...

Success!

And I now know the original works in Firefox but not Google Chrome.

Best wishes
