For years I have used the digital look screener to do a quick search for candidates. The last year or two I’ve encounter occasional problems or quirks but in the last couple of months it either won’t run or just returns nonsense.
Can anyone suggest an alternative free site that allows me to set similar criteria and screen for shares? I know there are some somewhere

With respect, I would have thought the tools being used for the selection of new shares or top ups is almost the definition of a practical aspect of HYP.

I use this for quick scanning / ranking of FTSE100 yields. If I want to dig down into financials the company's cashflow statement is the best source to use imo.

If you're used to the old DigitalLook screener, then https://uk.investing.com/stock-screener may be of interest.

Thanks to those who have made suggestions. I’m slightly annoyed at the moving of this to financial software and maybe that explains why I couldn’t find a topic on th hyp practical board about screening software. As wizard suggests, I would have though this was very much what hyp “practical” should discuss.
Anyway I have some suggestions for which I’m grateful.
