Hi,
I tried to run the dividend updated this morning and within a few seconds it gave the the following message:
runtime error '21470 12891(80072ee5) The URL is invalid.
My share listing starts with Admiral. I tried it with Sharecast and there is no issue in running a dividend update.
Any ideas?

I'll hazard a guess that you are referring to HYPTUSS, in which case:

• Which version?
• Which OS?
• Which version of Excel or LibreOffice?

I'm a bit busy today, I'll look at the problem this evening

It is v11-75 Excel. I have windows 10.

It looks like Stockopedia have changed the layout of the web page, which affects the Excel and LibreOffice versions of HYPTUSS.

I'll work on a fix

Mine was showing 'no divi' for all shares. Just tried again & all ok. Windows 7, excel,v11 73 . i notice BP divi payday & XD day are the same ie 02 Nov 21

Not only does Stockopedia have the same date for ex-div and payment, they are both wrong! It shows 02Nov21, but ex-div is actually 11Nov21 and payment is 17Dec21. 02Nov21 is the declaration date.
Previous dividends are OK in Stockopedia.

Sorry, there's not a lot HYPTUSS can do about this, it just reports the data

Sorry for the delay in responding, due to family matters I have been offline and only just got back on. Thanks for pursuing the issue, even though it was a Stockopedia issue.

I haven't forgotten about this, I've been checking off and on and just getting more confused with the data on the Stockopedia web page changing format from time to time, and in one case even being completely screwed up for a few hours. It's been stable for the past few days at least so I've had another look.

The upper image here (for VOD) shows the data used by HYPTUSS. The lower image shows the current data format on Stockopedia:

The change in the layout upsets HYPTUSS so I started working on modifying the code in HYPTUSS to use the new layout and discovered someting interesting.

The VOD webpage in Stockopedia is https://www.stockopedia.com/share-price ... e-LON:VOD/
Clicking on the "VOD Dividends" link results in https://www.stockopedia.com/share-price ... dividends/ which is the new data layout.

But...... if you edit that latter URL to https://www.stockopedia.com//share-pric ... dividends/ you get the original layout. Note the double-slash following the "www.stockopedia.com"

So, it looks like the original data is still available, so I'll modify HYPTUSS to use this and test it over the next week or so.

Also note that the new layout used by Stockopedia is wrong! The dividends with a pay date of 4th February 2022 and 6th August 2021 are out by a factor of 100. And the following records are stated in eurocents but appear to be pence. The original data layout appears to have correct data.

All a bit of a mess!
