Sharecast appears to have been down most of the day, so HYPTUSS cannot provide forecast yields.
Hope it's just a temporary glitch, it has had a rather chequered history

Yep, major SNAFU on their server configuration by the looks of it.

Yup, I noticed both DL and sharecast unavailable on Tuesday morning, but they both appear to have returned (early Weds morning)

Can you provide more detail......

Retrieving forecast yield or dividends?

I'm on quite an old version, but has been working fine until now. Version 11-65
It times out retrieving forecast yields. No particular share - it usually stops at the 15-20th item in my list of 36.

It times out retrieving forecast yields. No particular share - it usually stops at the 15-20th item in my list of 36.

I jusr tried 11.65 with 30 shares and forecast yields were retrieved without problem.
Having said that, later versions of HYPTUSS did have changes to the way data is retrieved from Sharecast....... It was originally Digital Look, which changed to WebFg which is now Sharecast. I could well believe that 11.65 has some problems with some shares since it tries to get data from Digital Look which is then redirected to Sharecast. Or maybe not in some cases.
Also, Sharecast have been changing the URLs for some companies so your Company Data Sheet may not be up-to-date.

I'd certainly use the latest version of HYPTUSS (and I hope to release a new one in the next few days)

When you say it times out, what exactly happens?

Using Libre Office version b-p on a Linux MInt system.
For several days, the dividend/yield retrieval stalls at the 8th share on the list CTY
Share price retrieval works smoothly

not getting an error message, it just sits there

Downloaded the latest version and populated it with my portfolio. Times out several times but eventually got the complete set after 5 or 6 attempts. I’ll use that and copy and paste the results into my earlier version for now, until your new release. I’ve got quite a lot of extra linked sheets in my version so it takes a while to fully migrate to a new one.

I can confirm this. Excel version is OK. Looks like a small change in the code on Sharecast is upsetting the macro.

Still getting a timeout error even with v11-76.
Message says "Run-time error '-2147012894 (80072ee2)' The operation timed out"

Using 11.76 and keeps erroring on SSE. The lookup URL path seems right for Sharecast, equity/SSE. Then I get a timeout after 16 stocks, with another 17 to go (33 stock HYP). SSE is at number 7. Sharecast website is displaying both latest and forecast yields for SSE.

Full portfolio list here, if it helps.

EDIT : Redone a number of times since Friday (I only update once per week). Third time lucky this evening, got all bar BHP with no timeout, so will manually add that one and settle for it for now. Many thanks for your efforts behind this wonderful piece of software.

I tried this again, using HYPTUSS 11.76.
6 times yesterday over 2 sessions with Excel 2016 on Windows 10, and 6 times this morning on Excel 2016 and Excel 2010 on Windows 10 and every run worked flawlessly.
I wonder if you might have an antivirus issue? I'm just using the built-in Windows security software
