Fund Data on FT Site not up to date

#486623

Postby scotia » March 14th, 2022, 11:30 pm

There seems to be a delay in some Fund Prices listed on the FT site, from which I extract my data. Tonight (post 10pm) some of the data is last dated 11/3/22, although others are dated 14/3/22. It looks like Interactive Investor is picking up (and displaying) this old data, but Hargreaves Lansdown is displaying the correct (14/3/22) data. I can't see any obvious differences between the funds which are up-to date and those that are not on the FT site. E.G. Fundsmith Equity I Acc is listed at 11/3/22, whereas Amati UK Smaller Companies is listed at 14/3/22.
I haven't been paying to much attention to the prices recently - so I don't know if this is an ongoing problem, or if it is just a "this weekend" problem.

The FT site its now lagging behind in even more funds (OEICs/Unit Trusts) today. Around 22:30 on 15/03/22 I checked Fundsmith, Lindsell Train Global, Amati Smaller Cos, and LionTrust UK Ethical. All are being reported with a price date of 14/3/22. I guess I'll need to look for another site to scrape Fund prices from.

The FT site fund prices seem to be back operating normally - with the day's prices correct in the evening when I check them. So it looks like the problem was a short term glitch.
