The Get Yahoo Prices button in the High Yield Portfolio sheet is working correctly, as are the Get Yields buttons in both sheets.

HYPTUS version 11-81 (Latest version), Excel 365 so assume it's the latest version), Windows 10 Version 22H2 last updated 14/03/2023

Just to finish this point off, I had Provident Financial (PFG.L) in my watchlist. This is no longer valid, and has been replaced by Vanquis Banking Group (VANQ.L). https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/VANQ.L?p=VANQ.L&.tsrc=fin-srch
See https://www.vanquisbankinggroup.com/media/news/vanquis-banking-group-plc-company-name-change/.

I guess the Company Datasheet will need updating, but I've decided not to bother with mine as I've lost interest in Provident/Vanquis.

I did think Sharecast were sorting out their forecast yields, but this week we have had the great leap backwards.

All the yields in HYPTUSS were correct with exception of BHP where we now get a run time error instead of any figure. Looking at Sharecast they give a forward yield of 1041.5%. I expect HYPTUSS was not really designed to cope with forward yields of the magnitude, which seems pretty reasonable.

I suppose we will just have to wait until Sharecast finally get their act together.

BHP is the only one which is crazy in my list, thank goodness. The HYPTUSS runs OK but I correct the factor of ten on BHP by hand, which is really nothing comparedcwith how bad it became a couple of months ago. I suspect some of the other forecasts are probably dodgy, but I'm not bothering to investigate to closely until I need to. Overall, there's been a significant jump in my forecast income, which seems unlikely - which I why I am not taking it too seriously at present. My running yield has increased from 5.xx to 6.xx over a couple of weeks despite my capital values increasing this week.

Got a horrible hack in my program that detects yields greater than 100% and automatically divides them by 100 (!)

The majority of the forecast yield data in Sharecast is now somewhat credible.... there are exceptions. You can see the data for the FTSE350 in the StepOne FTSE350 spreadsheets (column AH and AI) which I have just uploaded at http://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebl ... se350.html

Sharecast and Dividend Data now return ???? for the HYP tab yield.
Version b-u of the Libre Office version.

Is this a temporary glitch?

Have not got access to the latest HYP for Excel at moment but forecast and latest yield works for 11.79. Which is very unusual

Just had a quick look and OK for me for 3 shares. I presume some shares are OK then it fails on a specific one. Send me a list of tickers just before/after the problem and I'll look at it when I have a free moment

Thanks.

It's able to get the current share prices for each ticker. It's just the Yield, Cover, and P/E columns that have ???? and blue backgrounds, and then of course the Yield Weighting, Weighting Total, and Top-up order columns result in #VALUE! and the Expected Dividend column turns to 0.00.

Tickers are: MYI, CTY, SOI, JLEN. All 4 have the same problem.
The Watchlist tab also seem to have ???? for most of the tickers for the yield/cover/ and P/E.

I have another file for my SIPP, and that's got MYI, AEI, GSF, SOI, and BRWM, and those seem to work fine - same version of the HYPTUS.

I tried MYI, CTY, SOI and JLEN and all look totally normal to me, returning the latest yield in red, not forecast yield. HYPTUSS b-u using LibreOffice 7.4.5.1 on Windows 10. Sharecast web page looks fine.
Got to go, I'll have a think about it later, but I think you should try downloading a fresh copy of b-u, yours might have got corrupted in some way

This worked. I've no idea what happened to the file, but copying the data back into a fresh copy of b-u worked fine.

I'm no iPad expert, but I'd be amazed if this could be done
