LSE accounts can be set up for personal portfolios (https://tinyurl.com/2qntah9w), where holding-specific alerts for RNS releases can then be delivered via email in a similar way to Investegate, but on top of that, it's also nice to be able to have a fairly simple 'on-demand' method of dipping into RNS News releases for our holdings, and I think I've come up with a fairly good user-definable method of doing that...
The process below will allow the creation of a locally-held HTML file, which when opened in a default browser will look something like this -

When the above locally-held HTML file is opened in your default browser (tested on Windows Firefox and Chrome), and when pop-ups have been allowed for the HTML file itself, the first 'all holdings' link will open a new browser-tab for each of the individually-listed holdings captured in the HTML file code for that URL link functionality. This can then be used as a quick RNS News check for all holdings, where the individual company tabs can then be closed as you work through them if required.
If you are only looking for RNS News releases for an individual holding, or a smaller number of them, then the links in the lower section of the HTML file can be used for that process, which will open a single new browser-tab for one holding at a time.
The HTML code below is quite simple, and I've formatted the individual-holding URL links in the HTML code in a way that should hopefully allow very simple modification to suit individual holdings.
To create a locally-held HTML file for the above snapshot, the following process can be used -
1. Open the online HTML Editor in a new tab - https://codebeautify.org/real-time-html-editor
2. Click the 'Select all' option at the top of the CODE box below, and then either use 'Control-C' or right-click and 'Copy' to copy and paste the HTML code below into the left-hand box of the above HTML Editor page -

</HTML> 3. In the centre section of the HTML Editor page, there's a button marked 'Download' - use that to save the generated HTML file locally, and then rename the saved HTML file to something suitable, such as 'RNS News Links.html'
4. Double-click the locally-held HTML file, and it should open in your default browser looking like the snapshot at the top of this post.
5. Use the first 'Open RNS tabs for all holdings' link, and when prompted, set your browser to allow pop-ups, which will only then be set for that HTML file.
On my Firefox browser, when I first used the 'all holdings' link, it opened a single tab, but going back to the HTML file tab, there was a box at the top of the page that looked like this -
Using that 'Options' button, it then allowed me to select an option to 'Allow pop-ups for file xxxxx', which I then accepted, and the multiple-tab process worked correctly from that point onwards.
On my Chrome test, the initial click on the 'all holdings' link again only opened a single tab, and going back to the HTML file tab, there was a warning to the right-hand side of the URL bar that initially looked like this -
and then fairly quickly changed to this -
clicking on either of the above in Chrome then also gives the option to 'Always allow pop-ups from file xxxx', which, when selected, then allows the 'all holdings' link to open multiple tabs correctly.
The above 'allow pop-ups' processes only needs to be carried out for the 'all holdings' tabs to be opened, and the individual holding links in the lower-section of the HTML page will work without pop-ups being enabled.

If anyone is interested in this, then I'd recommend running through the above process initially, to replicate the HTML file shown in the initial screen-shot, and then any modifications to the HTML to suit individual holdings can then be carried out either in the online HTML editor itself, where I'd recommend using the 'Full Screen' button to the top-right of the left hand HTML window so that the URL formats can be understood a little easier, or the locally-held HTML file can be opened in a simple text editor such as Notepad, where again, the URL formats used for the multiple and individual holding URL's should be fairly simple to compile.
The URL links for the LSE site in the above HTML are set for 'Last Month' RNS news items, although the URL formats can be set to anything that can be generated using any of the LSE filter settings -

I hope the above is helpful to anyone who's been struggling in recent days following the Investegate issues. I'm normally quite happy to use the available email alerts for my RNS items, but sometimes a little more flexibility might be required, and whilst the filtering process on the LSE site itself is always available, I think having more readily-available links to portfolio-holding RNS news information can often be a good, quick middle-ground when looking to do a more rapid search.
