I have Ubuntu on an old computer and have downloaded the HYPTUS.
I then tried to download the additional software as described in the FAQ here (something like '.....If you use Ubuntu, you will need to install some software. For some reason Ubuntu does not include the Python script provider. However, this is available on the Ubuntu web site at: http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/libr ... t-provid... . Installing this enabled the new test version to work OK. ' ).
Unfortunately that link does not work now (or didn't last night). Is there a better link (or a better way of getting HYPTUS to work on Ubuntu?
Many thanks

The link in the FAQ is for Ubuntu Quantal (version 12) which is no longer supported.
This link should help for more recent versions: https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keyw ... der-python
This works OK for my current 16.04LTS Xenial
I'll get the FAQ updated
