I have finally dragged myself back to the Racing Post site and am astounded to note that today there are 12 dog race meetings in England. There also another 6 meetings in Ireland. In addition there is horse racing in Dundalk (as well as the UAE, USA and South Africa).
My man in the provinces (wherever that is) tells me that we should all pile on Cnoc Jewel (trap 5) - 21.00 Peterborough.
Disclosure - I have never been to the dogs and clearly would not know one greyhound from a whippet (maybe they are the same breed for all I know). Please do not follow my advice - though I will check out the result tomorrow morning and report back.

Just seen on Betfair that I can bet on horse racing meetings in New Zealand, Singapore and Sweden in addition to those mentioned above. Is this a parallel universe?

Re: Let's try to lose the rest of our money
Lots of countries still have horse racing, with no spectators. Some have restrictions on the number of owners who can attend. At Taunton last Tuesday it was no more than two owners and guests per horse.
Then the BHA cancelled all racing in the UK.
America has a full book of meetings today.
Australia is also having meetings tomorrow.
I know even less about dog racing than you

Re: Let's try to lose the rest of our money
We going to have to steer clear of Dundalk.
15.00 this afternoon - 10 runners
Yuften - fav is 1/2 tissue and 4/6 15 mins before off.
Tony the Gent - 2nd fav is 7/2 tissue and 11/4 15 mins before off
16/1 bar
Fav now drifts out to 6/4 at the off whilst Tony backed down to 10/11 - ooow - flip flopping fav - where is Big Mac when you need him?
RP reports 'Yuften was below his best but little enough went right. He was sluggishly into stride, was buffeted about at the top of the straight and when he got into gear the winner had first run'
Sorry did I forget to mention that both horses owned by same guy and trained by same trainer.

A Whippet is just a greyhound that is far away
... Or is it small

When I saw this topic title I was sure it would be about current stock market losses. Its somewhat comforting to see that there are other ways to achieve the same result.
