Feeling a bit like it this past week or so. First time in nearly ten years we've had enough ice around here to make just stepping outside a bit hazardous.

Good Morning and Happy New Year UE. I was just thinking that in the last week I have used more salt on my front steps than for the last two winters put together. It does not though feel as cold this morning although we still have snow lying.

Where I lived 2013-19 was 44 steps up from the road to my front door. Six full winters there, and my fears about the steps becoming hazardous never materialised.
No steps here, but a slight slope outside. Second winter here, tread carefully!
