Freedom! Primark!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56710858
On a snowy* Monday morn in April, the last thing I'd want to do is queue up early ooutside Primark
(and is it a rule that all young women must wear black leggings and clunky white trainers?)
*it is here, and back home in Shropshire. Seems to be meting now thankfully

Or ripped jeans or leather trousers. It's Darwinian. What young lads notice, kind of a code for them. And of course young woman want to get noticed. Plus the lads wear skinny jeans and white trainers too. Looks silly and must be uncomfortable

Of course makes no sense that hundreds of chavettes and bambini can pack out a primani but you cannot talk to a parent indoors, but that's covid-19 rules for you.

Who needs Primark? This tasteful ensemble appeared in a banner ad as I was looking at this thread.

I suppose the fact I looked at it means I will be targeted with similar ads forever more!

Re: Freedom! Primark!
I've noticed a fashion trend during lockdown(s) for how shall I put it somewhat overweight and/or unattractive young women to display their excesses in tight-fitting leisure wear.
I tend to look away - unless the woman is slim and attractive, in which case i tend to pretend I haven't noticed them.

The common factor is that neither are dressing to attract your attention.

That common factor would be true of everyone that doesn't know everyone else and/or isn't interested in what anyone thinks.
Much to Mrs bnc's chagrin and innumerable predecessors, dressing to please someone else in particular isn't my scene. I dress to keep and stay warm. Also I usually wear the same jacket wherever; as a friend remarked in case i"m not recognised if I don't. Which might explain why the pretty young things that inhabit our neighbourhood invariably wave and smile and greet whenever they see me.

Little boys and girls obviously delighted to see a dinosaur walking the streets.
