Famous at last!
The outstandingly prestigious publication that is Waterways World asked me to gob off about narrowboat for their podcast last week.
Even Mike the Boilerman gets a mention!

Please excuse my yam-yam Black Country accent, which gets increasingly broad as the interview persists. I was hoping for Peaky Blinders but sounded more like Barry from Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
Enjoy!

Ha! That would be interesting!
In fact we had the boat stretched - essentially cut in half and an extra 11ft of living/office space added in. A watery cut-and-shunt if you will!

So pleased you added the extra letter to 'shut" rather than "cut"

Hi Tony
Just finished listening to your podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I remember you from fool.co.uk about 15 years ago.
Thanks

THanks John.
I'm not as prolific these days, but I do turn up here every now and again to make a nuisance of myself.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great Podcast.
Thanks nimnarb.
That's still a work in progress. We're off to the Canaries for a month later in the year on a recce, and that looks like becoming a reasonably frequent opportunity. To be honest, though, our journey from Leeds to Gloucester during the post-lockdown sunshine spree will take some beating. It's been fabulous!
Catch you again soon I'm sure.
