WTF
Tammy Abraham has just been transferred to Roma for
THIRTY FOUR MILLION
has the world gone mad?

=================================

I saw him play for villa on loan .

He looks very talented .

A good manager may bring that out , in which case he will be worth it , and more .

Just in case you missed it -

Two Tammy Abraham assists helped Roma make a winning league start under Jose Mourinho with victory over Fiorentina

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58300907

and that's under Mourinho - imagine, as jackdaw suggests, just what a *good* manager could do with him...

:O)

That's a superb return he must be deadly with the assists
"He was substituted with cramp with 20 minutes left"

could manage 70 minutes WHAT an asset

Coming up on this week's 'Tammy Abraham watch' -

Tammy Abraham scored his first Serie A goal in Roma's win at Salernitana as Olivier Giroud opened his AC Milan account with a double against Cagliari.

Abraham swept home a classy finish from just inside the area for Roma's third against their newly promoted hosts.

The England striker was also involved in the second goal for Jose Mourinho's side as Jordan Veretout struck, while Lorenzo Pellegrini scored twice.

Mourinho must be spitting feathers...

You prefer he doesn't engage with the fans that contributed towards that £10m and just silently disappeared? Or maybe that he writes a letter blaming everyone else in a sulky, selfish manner?

I think being in the game has made you immune to everyday values
how can you defend £10m for 5 league appearances and 1 goal
https://www.flashscore.co.uk/player/willian/GSzdOhPI/
or is that common sense in the football world

Your link was to a letter of engagement to the fans on his departure. Seemingly this disappointed you enough to leave a sarcastic comment. That was what I responded to. His record being somewhat less relevant.

You know very little about me, or my team, and the values we hold individually or collectively, to make any comment. I note you chose not to answer either of my questions though.

You know very little about me either
Why obviously have different views, so why don't we just leave it at that
I don't join forums to get involved in having to argue or defend my comments

I am happy to leave it at that. But I'm not the one making inferences or comments about the other.

I do join discussion forums with an expectation others will wish to discuss what I contribute - odd that others prefer not to have a discussion.

As I took quite a bit of grief earier
I thought it was time to take a look at Tammys stats
4 goals in Serie A so far
https://www.flashscore.co.uk/player/abr ... /OYhxyduf/
He was great in the championship and half decent in in one premier league season

Top scorer this season for Roma with 24 goals to date, and having scored against Leicester in the second leg this week, Tammy Abraham has also helped to propel Roma to this years Europa League final -
