--> "We don't really know at this point whether they might be OK for tomorrow or they could be out for 10 days. There's a lot of unknowns, frankly, at this time."
Chilwell and Mount were seen hugging and speaking to Gilmour after the final whistle of Friday's game.
Public Health England (PHE) guidance states that someone could be considered a close contact and might have to self-isolate if they had a face-to-face conversation within one metre or had been within two metres of someone for more than 15 minutes who tested positive for Covid-19.
So no talking during those 50/50's...
--> The Scottish FA currently says there are no close contacts identified from inside their camp, with 25 players available to face Croatia on Tuesday.
Yeah, right....
Ridiculous

And relax...England and Czech's through to last 16. Could make tomorrows game very open with reserves trying to prove themselves. Fancy goals.
But might watch the Scots as I've split loyalties in my family up here.

The group winners play France/Germany/Portugal and runners up face Slovakia/Spain/Poland/Sweden so it is is in neither teams interest to win

It couldn't possibly be a dull 0-0 could it? Both teams through in a friendly kickabout.

Re: Come on England
could be worse than that, with both teams attempting to let the other score
(no sarky comments please about how England do that most games !)

Either way you play teams from the same groups. Of more relevance in midsummer may be where.
Winners play 2nd France/Germany/Portugal at Wembley, then winners Spain/Sweden in Rome.
Second plays 2nd Spain/Sweden in Copenhagen, then winners France/Germany/Portugal in St Petersburg.
Spain in Rome in July would be a stinker. Though they're currently 3rd and look unlikely to top their group. The second place team certainly gets more temperate weather. Either way there's no easy route.
Anyway, we can lose it easy. Just get Harry Kane to stand still in the middle of the park again. Like he did for the previous 2 games

Re: Come on England
How can two English footballers be required to isolate when the entire Scottish team, who also must have been in even closer contact with Gilmour, be unaffected? It's one rule for the Scots and another for the English. I don't care much as I'm Welsh but the Scots seem to have pulled a fast one.

It's does sound a bit dodgy
They were hugging Gilmour
There's a picture on the BBC website today of Maguire hugging Henderson
Are these players really THAT thick?

It sounds very dodgy doesn't it, but I'd like to see, in writing, the guidance or protocol that they have breached. And then to understand why/how no-one else has breached it.
Maybe they have very very strict protocols for when they return "inside" the stadium that only these 3 have breached so far in the whole tournament. I'm struggling to believe this but it could be possible....

Re: Come on England
The two English players were hugging Gilmour that is true. However, I don't know how many on here have played or even watch football, but players change together at least 30 minutes before kick off, shower in close proximity after the match and often huddle together before going on the pitch. I simply cannot believe that any Scottish player would not be in at least as close proximity with Gilmour as Mount and Chilwell. In essence, if the English players were required to isolate,so should the entire Scottish team. I would be very interested in seeing the justification the Scots have for playing tonight's game. It all sounds very fishy.

Re: Come on England
Question:
Why do players all give each other high fives and hugs just before kick-off
They all act like mates who haven't seen each other for ages, but they have just left the dressing room togtether and been with each other all week
Baffling
