Burn-up

I have learned something I didn't know about just how stupid people can be. Get twenty or so people together in a car park, pour a complete circle of fuel around them, and strike a match. Then... well, watch the video. :( https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-englan ... s-68014030

Nobody died, it seems. Somehow!

I am very suspicious of this clip - note the outer ring people never even flinch let alone step back when the rears of the cars slide outwards towards them.

Festus Akinbusoye, Bedfordshire's police and crime commissioner, said: "Intelligence is being gathered and actions are being taken".

I don't think they will have gathered much here..

Fom the link:

CCTV footage has been released showing cars at an illegal meet on an industrial estate

Who said it was illegal? What law were they breaking?

Apart from being complete a**holes? ;)

Apparently being a complete a**hole isn't illegal...yet.

There's always a law though isn't there. Driving without due care or concern is that a real thing? I'm sure the police have ever increasing powers to stomp on unlawful assembly, public order or to prevent breaches of the peace. If private land it's trespass.

As you say no law against being an 'hole. But as I understand it that is part of the selection process for working in law enforcement who enforce any such real or imagined laws.

Like distributing it amongst officers?
