I just watched the BBC News. It seems Tower Bridge is getting a clean. However, what struck me was how the bridge was being cleaned. I'm surprised elf & safety allowed this ( watch the clip in the link)!

I'm confused.

New drone footage has been released showing cleaners dangling from the bottom of Tower Bridge to clean its underside for the first time in 10 years.

.....

It was the first time the exposed underside had been cleaned since it was installed a year ago.

Which is it? And what was installed (whenever it was)?

Whichever it is, I'm not going up there!

I was amazed to see a bloke undertaking repairs on a road bridge that goes over the AP7 in Spain while simply sat on the edge of the bridge with his legs hanging off the edge of the bridge.

Motorway below, no security harness and the road bridge itself wasn't closed to running traffic.

You couldn't pay me anywhere near enough to do that!

Is not the video clip of the men working under the walkway computer generated imagery?

It certainly has that quality. It's probably safer than flying a drone round them when they're working!
