Anent your very polite thanks, I should add that there are quite a few of our words which lie outwith the English vocabulary.

And I thought the RAF were organising evening photo shots for visitors- so I put it on my list "to be done" when the restrictions ease, then I saw the credit

A few miles along the coastal path.
You beat me to it - I was going to suggest that it would impressive to see the Typhoons with the Northern Lights as a backdrop! OK - no Typhoons, but definitely the backdrop.

Out walking earlier, I was reminded of the month by the MayFlower
Although in my youth (in Central Scotland) I remember my father saying - its the June Flower, not the May Flower. Could it be a sign of global warming - it now seems to bloom regularly in May in Central Scotland.

Re: The Lemonfool my pic of the day thread
No photo to post, but as Snorvey often posts shots of the fabulous Typhoon, I was in the North Cotswolds yesterday (around 15 miles north of Brize Norton) and saw two C-130s, two AH-64D Longbow, and more interestingly (given we don't officially have any), two V-22 Osprey. I've seen Osprey before, last year in US, and think of them as USMC and USAF, special ops of course, but don't think I've seen them in UK previously.
Only mention it here as I know some of you have an interest in military aircraft, and the Osprey make an interesting sight on a lovely sunny day!

There's been an increase in traffic from Dover Air Force Base (home of the DoD air freight division) to Brize Norton since lockdown apparently, mostly I think to fuel the conspiracy theorists...!

I saw a pair over Slough a few years back. Quite spooky as the are neither chopper nor fixed wing - took me while to work out what the flip was going on.
Before you ask, they were 'security' for Obama's visit to Windsor, checking the local airspace

Out for my regular cycle this afternoon, and came across this oldie...I'm assuming oldie because there appears to be grey sideburns...

It appears not. There are a few special mods for phpbb, but nothing in the core code to do this. I doubt pictures are important enough to LemonFool to justify the effort.
