With all the things that make retirement worthwhile (to me) largely out of bounds, I figure I'd rather keep on earning while I can't do anything else. When you're largely trapped within the confines of your house, are you going to have enough to keep you occupied? I'm not sure I would.
I meant to say in my post above, this is a key reason why I haven't stopped yet.

Same for me, could do it now, but why give up a nice income for something I quite like doing for most of the time. Also never know after 31 years, might get an offer I can't refuse ......

Shares are listed on NASDAQ yes.

Is hedging an option and something you can do if not looking to sell in the short term?

I had been half thinking that given the pound is at record lows against the dollar, tech stocks are at record highs, and there are noises of increases to capital gains tax, it might make sense to sell them all and take the tax hit now and then reinvest over time elsewhere.

Obviously if there's a simple way to hedge at low cost that would remove one of the three risks to that pot but I'd just assumed that would be very complicated to manage.
