I've decided to be a bit more TJH and follow my HYPTUSS suggestions a bit more rigorously. To that end I updated the old version of the spreadsheet I use (v11.52) with the ETFs and ITs and prefs I also hold manually entered some divis (eg reduced BP from the forecast 9% to a more realistic 6%), I left some unchanged where I though they might be a sensible forecast for restarted divis

So I went ahead and set up a cheap regular purchase of the Aviva prefs for tomorrow. The only annoyance is the divis to be reinvested are in the wrong account so I now have a split holding of AV.B between two brokers.
