Well known, v. large cosmetic etc company and the share price has dropped by roughly a third over last 6 months for no good reason I can see.

See https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-sear ... nd-reports

HL data maybe wrong on PEG and profit increase. Foreign currency exposure risk of course but lots of sales of lots of items very day, profit up substantially (and artificially so) last quarter after a strange duff quarter before.

Some thought sales would increase post-pandemic as people started socialising more … others said reverse … but surely cosmetics serve growing middle class in Asia … I tend to think a safe sector.

No holding yet … investigating and welcome any comments/thoughts.

Recent buys and sells of PDMRs. Seems to be one way traffic.

Topped up EL recently at $258 along with L'Oreal. Both quality Companies with long growth runways.

Recession coming....their products will be the last that lady folk will scrimp on. Husbands beware!

Also a play on airports reopening.

Monabri:

Thanks - though for a $98Bn market cap the sales by PDMR (some of which aren’t that recent) don’t look excessive or worrying to me.
Members of the EL founders family probably have expensive lifestyles to maintain!

Their revenues are apparently very heavily biased towards Christmas and calendar year end which distorts things.
