Mode Global (MODE) rows back on yesterday's claim that "Mode brings Bitcoin Cashback to 40+ UK retailers" including Ocado, Homebase and Boots. Some of those specified brands have since withdrawn Mode as an affiliate. So at least 2 of the 3 mentioned don't want to be tainted with the Bitcoin casino energy bonfire. [SP=39.3 Cap=36m]
X5 Retail (FIVE) pilot launch of financial services under the X5 Bank brand. Intially will involve "digital cards that combine the functionality of Pyaterochka and Perekrestok loyalty cards with banking services such as payments, money transfers and rouble-denominated cash back, among others." [SP=NA Cap=NA]
GSTechnologies (GST) £1m placing at 2p, a 13% discount, even though it's only 3.5% dilution. Needed to "accelerate the implementation of the Group's strategy." Sounds like keeping the lights on. [SP=2.22 Cap=32m]
Ilika (IKA) guides H1(Oct) EBITDA loss £2.7m (£1m) "due to the reduction in revenue recognition [a grant] and the increase in operational costs associated with the commissioning of the Stereax manufacturing facility and an intensification of the Goliath development programme".
