You do come across some weird deals in the nether regions of the markets. My new favourite is a £1m oil company from Texas called True North Energy (TNEN on OTC) which randomly bought 70% of an Italian shoe company called LeCrown :

I'm not quite sure what became of it, but they've also had a go at selling SIM cards for Three in Italy and when that didn't work they're now getting into blockchain.
