FREEVIEW OUTAGE IN LONDON

#523318

Postby gnomes26 » August 18th, 2022, 7:01 am

Hi all,

Just checking - is anyone else having problems?? I haven't been able to access Freeview since last Friday - all I get is "No signal"

Can't seem to get any sense from the Freeview site.

Any ideas?

There's a Freeview section on the 'Is The Service Down?' page linked below which seems to suggest that a high number of London based reports have been logged in the past 15 days -

A relatively quick check just to make sure it's not just you might be to have a chat with a near-neighbour or two, and see if they're also seeing Freeview related issues.

Cheers,

It's the weather. I usually have to switch over to Freesat in the summer (my TV does both Freeview and Freesat).

Those figures look to be pretty much in proportion to population. ;)

Anyway, no problems here in SE London.

Thanks, guys, for all your suggestions.

I finally caved in and and called an engineer in. Hey presto, he's fixed it and is going to update the aerial system. Now I can settle down for a bit of a catch up with my favourite programmes!

Once again, many thanks, Lemon Fool never fails with its knowledgable and helpful Fools.
